What to Expect

Expect something positively different.

Whether you are familiar with chiropractic care or this will be your first time, you can expect your visit with Dr. Cam to be new and different from any healthcare experience you have had before. Perhaps even life-changing.

For starters, you will not need an appointment. You can walk in whenever it is convenient for you. You will no need a referral or any insurance to receive care immediately either. You may experience a short wait before being seen, but the wait times are minimal and usually just enough time to complete your initial paperwork. Your initial paperwork is to help the doctor get a better idea of your health history and current needs.

During your first visit, Dr. cam will explain how joint dysfunction may occur, how a chiropractic adjustment is used to correct them, and the many benefits chiropractic has to offer. If you have never been adjusted before, this is a great way to have some of your questions answered by a professional, so you will know exactly what is expected. The doctor will answer any questions or concerns you may have prior to initiating treatment.

Your Consultation, Exam, & Adjustment

After a consultation and exam, Dr. Cam will determine if you may benefit from chiropractic care. If so, you will be adjusted in an open bay area on a comfortable adjustment table made specifically for this purpose. You will remain fully clothed for the duration of your visit, so it is recommended that you wear non-restrictive clothing to make it easier to rest comfortably while lying down on the table. A portion of your treatment may be performed while you are face down, while other treatments may be delivered while you are either on your side, sitting upright or lying on your back.
